About Deborah Armstrong

I am a jack of all trades, master of some. I really enjoy using my medical knowledge and experience to perform case reviews and give cogent advice. More than once I have added value to cases by knowing what should have been done and wasn't (not meeting the standard of care).

I have also discovered that an incorrect medication was prescribed at a critical time, which led to a bad outcome. I pride myself in being able to make sense of medical charts in the setting of the legal facts.

I am comfortable reading all forms of medical charts- nursing notes, operative notes, consults, hospital notes, outpatient office notes, reports of x-rays, MRIs and CT scans.

For the past 11 years I have been an independent adjunct advisor for the Day Law Firm in Forest, Virginia, working on medical malpractice cases as well as in an Urgent Care practice.

Consulting Services

My consulting services are broad. Whether it's Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Tort litigation, Workmans Compensation or Insurance Claims, my experience in the exam room and my legal expertise can help you.

Not sure if it's worth the time and money to take a case? I am happy to review the facts and the medical records to advise you on the best course of action. Have a question about a case you are currently involved with or actively litigating? Let me look at the whole picture, interpret the medical facts, and advise.

I can also help direct you to the appropriate medical subspecialist(s) who could benefit your case and give you that edge.

I am Qualified As An Expert Witness In Virginia witness as well, depending on the content of the case and if I would qualify based on the particulars.

Dr. Armstrong is amazing!  Dr. Armstrong was able to advise us on several of our medical malpractice cases.  She is able to determine if medical malpractice has occurred, and when it has, she is able to certify the case or advise how we need to proceed.  Being both a physician and an attorney made her an invaluable member of our team.  She has added great value to our cases.
